You will be surprised how many burst water pipes go unnoticed. Water leaks that remain hidden for a long time can waste huge amounts of water and result in a MASSIVE bill from the Water Corporation.

At Bell Plumbing & Gas, we specialise in locating water leaks and here’s a few things we have learned along the way. ​

To check for household water leaks:

1. Find your water meter. Your water meter is usually located at the front of your property. If you are having trouble finding your meter, click here. Go to your water meter and record the last three red numbers shown on the top of your meter.
2. Test for leaks. Turning off all the taps and water-using appliances in your home.
